Where to start

Start with what you have noticed.

Most people arrive describing a change they have seen rather than a treatment they want, which is the right way round. Working out which of these is the answer — or whether none of them is — is what the assessment is for.

One

Contouring, Volume & Wrinkles

Lines that started as expression and now stay put when the face is at rest, and the separate, slower loss of support beneath them as bone, fat pads and connective tissue change. Most people have some of both. Working out which is doing more, and where, is what the assessment is for.

Two

Lip Volume

Lips change with age in shape and support, not only volume — the border softens, the upper lip lengthens, less of the lip shows. And not every concern is age-related: naturally fine lips, asymmetry and lines that lipstick bleeds into are just as common reasons to ask.

Three

Rejuran

Flat, tired-looking skin, fine crepiness around the eyes and neck, and a general loss of bounce that topical skincare has stopped shifting. Addressed at the level of the skin itself, without changing the shape of the face.

Four

Skin Needling

Acne scarring, uneven texture, enlarged-looking pores and stretch marks — the things you can feel as much as see. Addressed by prompting the skin's own repair response.

Your consultation

No treatment proceeds on the day of assessment without a clear understanding of what it involves.

Your appointment begins with a full facial assessment and a review of your medical history, current medications and previous treatments.

01

Assessment

A full facial assessment and medical history — structure, movement, skin condition and what you have had done before.

02

Options and limits

Which options may be appropriate, what each involves, the associated risks and possible side effects, and the realistic limits of what can be achieved for your face.

03

A course, not an appointment

Most treatments here are performed as a course over weeks or months. You will know the expected timeframe before you commit to any of it.

04

Written aftercare

Provided at every appointment, so you know how to protect the result and what is normal in the days afterwards.

How the consultation works →

Why some treatment fees are discussed at consultation.

Australian advertising rules do not permit cosmetic clinics to publish price information for services that may involve prescription-only medicines. Fees are discussed at consultation once Mia has assessed your suitability, treatment area and individual plan.
